We went to The Sinclair in Harvard Square last week. It’s a much needed live music venue with multi levels to view a show. Bruce in the USA was playing and if you’re a Springsteen fan and need a fix, find this guy. Three hours, yes three hours of Bruce. A look alike, with all the mannerisms, a great band and if you closed your eyes, you would think you were hearing the Boss himself
But, before the show, we had dinner at the restaurant in The Sinclair which is owned by Michael Schlow a noted restauranteur in Boston. There are lots of good options, but we opted for everything fried! Fried chicken with rainbow chard and corn, fried hot dogs, yes fried hot dogs, disco tots with cheese which were homemade tater tots and I couldn’t eat enough of them, salt and pepper calamari, mac and cheese, cheese steak. You get the idea. Comfort food at it’s best! After dinner, I could feel my arteries clogging but in a good way! Sometimes you need some good fried food. The Sinclair doesn’t only do fried. It does other things and you can get out of there without your cholesterol level going through the roof but what the hey, I did a little Dancing in the Dark!
